    Heat Palaver!

I envy the way you fight back when it’s hot
    Rolling up your sleeves
    To reveal
    Your broad chest and pecs
    Squared shoulders raised up high
    Your dumbbell arms
    All laying bare
Your customier has indeed been creative
    At the Sun’s peak
You have no need for cotton and silk for your trunk and upper extremities
    Except for lower extremities
    Just nature’s apparel
    For you is fine

I wish I could fight back
    But my seamstress designed
the torso of my clay jacket
With a valley I cannot reveal
    Mounted betwixt 2 hills
Hidden within my hills are rivers
    Flowing with milk and honey
For the thirsty ones yet unborn
For this reason I am clothed
    Often
    With sparse clouds
And so torridity still conquers me
But when the south wind comes
I shall bask in the sheep’s wool
    And victory will be mine!!!
